Haryana Police Eligibility Conditions
Age Limits :-
- Lower-18 years
- Upper-25 years
(ii) For Ex.-Servicemen candidates: Upper age limit is 40 years plus continuous military service added by three years. The break in service between the date of discharge and between 1st day of the month in which enrolment process is started shall not exceed four years.
(Exact date on which the age is to be determined shall be on the first day of the month in which application are invited for recruitment of Constables.
Educational Qualification :- The minimum educational qualification for a candidate to be eligible for selection as constable shall be 10+2 for all categories.

Note – Suitable relaxation in height and in chest may be granted by the Director General of Police, Haryana for recruitment of outstanding sports persons after recording reasons in writing.
Physical Efficiency Test: Candidates found eligible on the basis of physical measurements shall undergo Physical Efficiency Test (PET) of total 20 marks. Candidates shall be tested for following capacities as per PPR 12.16 (14)

Physical Screening Test (PST)

Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Interview-cum-Personality Test
Physical Screening Test (PST):- All candidates shall be put to a Physical Screening Test carrying maximum of fifteen marks to judge their physical fitness and endurance. The qualifying standards prescribed for this test shall be as under:-

Knowledge Test (KT):- An objective type Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) based written test of 60 marks shall be conducted of all those candidates who qualify the Physical Screening Test
Knowledge Test (KT):- The candidates after PST, KT and the scrutiny of documents shall undergo Physical Measurement Test as per standard prescribed under Punjab Police Rule 12.15 (2) read with 12.16 (9) (c).
Interview-cum-Personality Test:- Candidates shall be called for Interview–cum-Personality Test on the basis of their combined scores in Physical Screening Test + Knowledge Test + Physical Measurement Test up to three times the numbers of vacancies in each category
The person/applicant who qualifies PST shall be eligible to appear for KT and person qualifying KT shall be eligible for PMT and person qualifying PMT shall only be eligible for IPT.
