Exam Conduct By:- National Mineral Development Corporation Limited (NSL)

  • Executive Trainee (Administration)

Selection process:- candidates will be shortlisted based on performance in the written exam followed by group discussion and personal interview.

NSL Executive Trainee Exam Pattern 2015

NSL Exam Pattern 2015:- Exam Pattern for ET (Technical & Administration) written Examis as Follows :-

  • The written examination will be multiple choice/objective type.
  • The Total duration of test will be 150 minutes.
  • There will also be an Interview of 25 marks.

NSL Trainee Syllabus 2015:- Exam Syllabus for Executive Trainee exam is given below :-

Quantitative Aptitude :- The questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate. The scope of the test will be computation of whole numbers, decimals, fractions and relationships between numbers, percentage, averages, interest, profit & loss, time & distance, time & work, basic algebraic identities of school algebra, Bar diagram & Pie chart etc.

Verbal Ability :-English grammar, sentence completion, verbal analogies, word groups, instructions, critical reasoning and verbal deduction.

Reasoning Ability :- Questions will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning.

General Awareness :- History, Geography and Socio Economic development of India. Knowledge of current events of National and International importance and such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. Paper will also include questions on Modern History (From 1857 onwards) of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography, Polity of India.
